EDP FACILITIES

The EDP (i.e. Elite Development Programme) Facilities are vast, but as with any institution or facility there is a start and end point. On entering the EDP, you are struck by the variety from which to select.

Here, ARS Members showcase: experience, skills, education, events, articles, photos and videos, to get a job at AMIGO. The LinkedIn of ARS.

Connect is ARS network on the internet. ARS Members use Connect to find the right job at Amigo, connect and strengthen relationships, and learn the skills ARS members need to succeed.

A complete Connect profile helps ARS Members connect with opportunities by showcasing their unique story through experience, skills, and education.

You can also use Connect to organize offline events, join groups, write articles, post photos and videos, and more.

You need to get to know fellow ARS Members also participating in the EDP. You can choose to be a loner, but were is the fun in that. Your ability to climb the social ladder and network will in many ways assist with your success in the EDP. Remember that Team, Support and Communicate is the ARS way. Course work and Jobs are best done as a team, when each member is supporting the other. As you share with others and vice versa your experience at the EDP is enriched.

Enough of that! How do you get to know your fellow members? Please make your way towards the “Connect” facility. At the ARS, our Ruling House Communities are defined and further categorized by age and gender (i.e. “male and female” or as we refer to it “masculum and feminam”). Here is an example. Assuming you are female and in elementary school you may find yourself in green knights feminam or cavalier prim feminam or black jedi feminam or spartans prim feminam …. (see Communities for more) . If male and at middle or high school you may find yourself in Cavalier Sec masculum or Spartans Sec masculum or Black Knights masculum …. (see Communities for more). Generally speaking you are in one of the following Ruling Houses: Jedi, Cavaliers, Spartans, Barbarians, Knights.

In your individual community there is so much to get up-to, such as, attend events, setup events, share videos and pictures, share blog content, or just chat. However, you are not stuck in your Community. You can always see what’s happening in other Communities once invited. There are, however, some house cleaning rules:

2. Good manners equals good reputation. ...

3. Keeping in touch with your connections. ...

4. Always ask permission. ...

5. Be a good digital citizen.

By the way, there is a Connect facility within the Shizzle facility. You are free to use this Shizzle facility (Connect @Shizzle), if you wish, in addition to the standalone main Connect facility.

Your Connect profile influences the jobs available to you at Amigo. Connect is the equivalent of Linkedin for ARS Members. Here, your reputation matters and your reputation is recorded in Connect. A bad profile means low paying jobs which means not enough money to pay rent and other expenses.

ARS Members’ decisions in Shizzle define how much they “gain”. When we say gain, we really mean gain, because how much Members earn (ie your financial success) is dependent upon course work done at the Shizzle Facility. Shizzle is the Business School for ARS Members. Its from here ARS Members enroll for classes by Biz Kid$ and Secret Millionaires Club.

Shizzle course work has already been pre-determined (that is to say we have made the selection for you). Dependent upon your age or school grade, you are either in The Secret Millionaires Club (for elementary school), Biz Kid$ (for Middle School) or Biz Kid$ (for High School). Hopefully, if you are either in Middle or High School you have gone for the Premium Subscription of the the EDP as this gives Members access to the best paying jobs once you get to Amigo.

Hey! You’ve got to earn your way through the EDP. There is no free meal ticket here. This means you’ve got to get a job were you can apply all those wonderful new skills acquired from Shizzle. Note that the EDP does not fund itself. You have to pay tax, rent and other utilities and if found up-to no good there are fines :( However I’m sure you will be fine.

Place for getting a job is Amigo. Dependent upon if you signed up-to Basic or Premium Subscription there are many jobs available for you to do. You are paid weekly and your pay is in Staters which is our currency at the EDP.

Amigo Job placements have to be applied for, and dependent on your profile in Connect you can either be selected for your first choice job or an alternative job is recommended. Hence, be careful about what sort of profile you build for yourself in Connect.

The Amigo facility can also help with incubating your start-up business. This is encouraged at the EDP. You may have a full time job whilst also running your own business.

Sending in your reports on Fridays is important. Ensure your supervisor signs the report. Don’t stress yourself. We have made it simple.

You need to keep and manage your hard earned Staters, and you need a means of paying bills and buying things to make your time at the EDP that much more fun.

Please make your way to Staters, your Community Bank. I know its rather confusing having both the Bank and the currency sharing the same name, however you will get use to it. We have ATM machines, Mobile Apps and Web Banking to make it that much more easier to gain access to your Staters.

All weekly payments from Amigo are made into your Earn Wallet and its from there that you may transfer some to your Save, Spend or Invest wallet. Its also from your Staters account that bills such as tax, rent or fines are deducted.

A bank card is issued with each Staters account and is used when purchasing items from any of the Merchants at Hangout. It is a touchless card and branded with the name of your Ruling House Community. It is accompanied with your Staters ID which you use at the ATM.

Staters, the currency, has value just like Naira, Euro, US Dollars or Pounds Sterling. Infact, you can always check-up the exchange rate value online. Because it has value you may exchange it for other currencies if you wish.

It is important that if you accumulate debt, you pay it off to maintain a good credit record.

Hangout Mall is a space to spend your well earned Staters. Its the place to find merchants that accept Staters.
