Firstly, headover to CONNECT and build your profile.

A good profile is what you need to be accepted in a good business school to get a job. CONNECT is the equivalent of LinkedIn for ARS Members.

Connect is a social media platform and is built from the ground up around the ARS Ruling Houses and Communities.


ARS Members use Connect to build a Profile that becomes their CV when applying for a job. Connect is the equivalent of Linkedin for the ARS, so do be careful what sort of profile you build for yourself.

ARS members performance at Amigo, once they get a job or start a business, depends upon how well they have performed at networking and building a profile in Connect.

Connect is sort of like the common room for Communities and the Ruling Houses. Its here that ARS members feel most safe and confident to build on what they have learned at Shizzle.

Connect consists of two environments. They are

  1. CONNECT the private social media platform at at which forums, discussions, blogs, images and videos exist. This Social Media platform is broken into Ruling Houses and Communities.

  2. CONNECT @SHIZZLE which is simply all the above in the Shizzle facility.

Secondly, enrol at business school.

SHIZZLE uses video tutorials and online activity sheets for ARS Members to develop entrepreneurial and money management skills.


All Rugby Schools members now have access to Shizzle. Shizzle is a financial incubation and literacy platform for ARS Members.

Shizzle is a term used to describe "knowing your stuff". Shizzle best describes persons who have a grip on things that affect them. Hence the saying "know your Shizzle".

How many of us know our money shizzle. I mean really know it. Most persons react to financial issues that happen to them. Few however are ahead of the curve when it comes to financial happenings that affect them.

Shizzle places ARS Members ahead of the curve with regards their money and how it impacts their lives. Shizzle addresses our mindsets towards:

  • Personal Finances

  • Financial Planning

  • Saving and Investment

  • Credit and Debt

  • Careers

Thirdly, apply for a job.

Amigo is the job centre / talent hub of the Elite Development Programme for ARS Members.


The Job Centre has a range of online jobs that ARS members can select from to do at home and school. Here are some:

Tan Jobs -

  1. Paralegal;

  2. Dry Cleaners;

  3. Technology Supervisor;

  4. Meteorologist;

  5. Custodian,

  6. Recyclist,

  7. Healthcare;

  8. Interior Decorator

Ether Jobs -

  1. Banker; Conservationist;

  2. Counselor;

  3. Restaurant Manager;

  4. Logistics Manager;

  5. Vet;

  6. Security and Emergency

Through Amigo ARS members earn the e-currency (Staters) that they may spend at the shopping mall (Hangout) or save and invest in their local community Bank (Staters).


Experiential Learning

EDP engages ARS members in both life and learning.  Its real value lies in the fact that it increases ARS Member’s understanding of the world they live in, while it works to develop personal skills that will help them meet with success as they grow. Through hands on learning experiences, EDP seeks to expand knowledge, promote values and develop skills among ARS members. 

Experiential Learning is at the core of everything we do at the EDP.

  • How a Society Works: EDP is organized as a real society with Ruling Houses, Communities, the School and Parents.

  • Financial Literacy: To help ARS members gain personal financial literacy EDP has its own Business School/Incubator: Shizzle; its own e-currency: the Staters and its own Community Bank. ARS members learn how they can earn, spend, save, invest, care and donate their Staters.

  • The World of Work: One of the most exciting parts of the EDP experience is the opportunity for ARS members to learn about employment in different types of jobs through Amigo.

  • Group and Community Work: Working within a community. Serving the Community. Presenting and selling your ideas to the Community and carrying the Community along when executing such ideas. Team, Support and Communication is constantly tested from ARS members as they participate in activities of the EDP.

  • Good Habits: Cultivating good habits, and forming them early in ARS members, is something that is incredibly important for their development. At the EDP we look to instill good habits in ARS members.


A Perfect Match for Schools

Learning is at the very heart of the EDP, as it provides an authentic and powerful match between theory and practice, since every ARS member can put together the knowledge acquired within a safe environment that absolutely accelerates learning processes. This learning extends beyond the school curriculum and ARS members will be able to develop a wide range of essential skills and values.

EDP provides activities which are both accessible and challenging to ARS members of different ages and abilities. Through curriculum-based activities, students will instantly grasp that learning is tangible and its outcomes have a purpose and a reality. With the support of our Industry Partners we are fostering children development as this learning makes the experience meaningful and long-lasting.

We’ve made it simple for teachers to create an all-round experience for their students as we offer resources that will extend the learning from classroom, to home and back again. It is our aim to create experiences relevant to local curriculums.
